It is not necessary to make an appointment, but it is recommended.
- Carat (karat): The weight of the diamond is measured in carats. A carat equals 0.2 grams. The larger the carat weight, the more valuable and expensive the diamond is usually.
- Clarity: A diamond's clarity refers to the presence of internal features, also called inclusions, as well as external features, such as surface cracks. Higher clarity diamonds have fewer inclusions and are therefore more valuable.
- Color: The color of a diamond can vary from colorless (D) to slightly tinted (Z). Diamonds that are closer to the colorless side of the spectrum are rarer and more valuable.
- Cut: A diamond's cut refers to the proportions and facet design that make the diamond sparkle. A good cut maximizes the brilliance and fire of a diamond and adds significantly to its beauty.

Adjustments & Changes
We can create bespoke jewelry by setting your own gemstones and diamonds in almost any setting of your choosing. Send your request to info@barrysjuwelier.com.
Yes, we also offer metals other than 14-18kt white or yellow gold.
Yes, we can customize ring sizes! Prices vary based on how many sizes you need to go up or down. Please visit us in the boutique to be able to advise you accordingly and offer you a reasonable offer and details.
When you buy your ring from Barry's Jeweler, your first resizing is FREE .
Almost all rings can be resized, but there are always some exceptions. If your ring has diamonds on the shoulders (diamonds along the sides of the band), an intricate design, or an eternity ring, we will need to look at the ring to determine if we can adjust it to your desired size. The best way to answer this question correctly is if you bring the ring over so we can look at it.
jewelry appraisal
At Barry's Juwelier, our valuations are conducted by highly qualified GIA qualified gemologists.
We rely on experts who understand their craft and have extensive knowledge of gemstones. Their competence and expertise ensure an accurate and reliable valuation of your jewellery.
With our dedicated team, you can rest assured that your treasured pieces will receive an objective and professional appraisal, giving you a sound understanding of their quality and value
Yes, every purchase over €1,000.00 is accompanied by a written appraisal for insurance purposes. This document will be sent with all other documentation in the same package as your purchase.
We recommend that you have your jewelry revalued every 5 years. The value of your jewelry may increase over time due to fluctuations in the price of diamonds in metal. Because of this, you want to be sure that your jewelry will be valued at a reasonable price that reflects its value should something happen.
Once you have a new appraisal for your jewelry, we recommend that you keep a copy for yourself and send a copy to your insurance company so that your jewelry is insured at the correct value.
